Terms of service

<p>These terms apply to every purchase from shadedogco.com.au, which is operated by Shade Dog Co. in Victoria, Australia. By placing an order you agree to them. They're written to be read, so please do.</p>
<h2>Orders</h2>
<p>An order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation. We can decline or cancel an order before dispatch if a product is unavailable, a price or description was clearly wrong, we suspect fraud, or the order breaches these terms. If we cancel, you'll be refunded in full within 2 business days.</p>
<p>Please check your delivery address at checkout. We're not responsible for parcels delivered to an address you gave us incorrectly, though we'll always try to help.</p>
<h2>Prices and payment</h2>
<p>All prices are in Australian dollars. Any GST that applies is shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken in full at the time of order through Shopify's secure checkout; we never see or store your card details. We can change prices at any time, but not for an order you've already placed.</p>
<h2>Shipping and returns</h2>
<p>Delivery times, costs and what happens when things go wrong are set out in our <a href="/policies/shipping-policy">Shipping Policy</a>. Size swaps, change-of-mind returns and refunds are set out in our <a href="/policies/refund-policy">Returns & Refunds Policy</a>. Both form part of these terms.</p>
<h2>Free gifts and promotions</h2>
<p>Free-gift offers work like this: the gift item has to be in your cart, and the discount is applied at checkout once the order qualifies. The welcome gift is for a customer's first order over $60 and needs the code shown on the site; one welcome gift per customer. The over-$100 gift is applied automatically. Gifts have no cash value, can't be exchanged for other products, and if an order containing a gift is returned, the gift is returned with it or its normal price is deducted from the refund. We can change or end any promotion at any time, and we can cancel orders that abuse one.</p>
<h2>Using our products</h2>
<p>Our products are pet care products, not medical devices, and nothing on this site is veterinary advice. The Cover Suit helps keep a dog from reaching a wound or stitches; it doesn't replace your vet's instructions, and if your vet has told you to use a cone, follow your vet. Check the suit and the wound regularly, and remove the suit if your dog is distressed or the wound is being irritated. Lick mats should be used with supervision and replaced if damaged. Paw + Nose Balm is for external use on paws and noses; stop using it if you notice any irritation. Cooling mats are for supervised use and are not for chewers. If you're ever unsure about your dog's health, see your vet.</p>
<h2>Product information</h2>
<p>We do our best to describe and picture products accurately, and where we use illustrations we also show a photo of the actual item. Colours can look different on different screens, and packaging may vary from what's pictured. Sizing is a guide; if you're between sizes, size up, or email us and we'll size your dog.</p>
<h2>Our liability</h2>
<p>Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these terms limits those guarantees. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any other loss is limited to replacing the goods, resupplying them or refunding the price paid, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where the law lets us limit liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to the same remedies.</p>
<h2>Website and content</h2>
<p>Everything on this site, including the words, illustrations, photos and the Shade Dog Co. name and logo, belongs to us or is used with permission. You're welcome to share it; please don't copy it for commercial use without asking. We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we can't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we can change or remove content at any time.</p>
<h2>Privacy</h2>
<p>How we handle your personal information is set out in our <a href="/policies/privacy-policy">Privacy Policy</a>.</p>
<h2>Changes to these terms</h2>
<p>We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.</p>
<h2>Governing law</h2>
<p>These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.</p>
